Roasted Organic Cocoa Nibs 222g Canister

Cacao nibs are a growing food trend. Innovative restaurants are getting creative with them in dishes both savory and sweet - first and foremost, because they taste fantastic. The unique flavor of these Ecuadorian nibs and delightfully crunchy texture - like nuts - make them an appealing accent sprinkled on ice cream or even salads, in BBQ marinades and sauces, and in cookies and cakes.
Ingredients: cacao beans

Roasted Organic Cocoa Nibs 222g Canister is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific ingredient I bought nibs two years ago in the SF shop and they came with an excellent recipe for Nibby Pecan cookies (similar to a pecan shortbread) and I now add them when I want a little crunch and a more obscure chocolate flavor, they are rather addictive... and they last a long time. Great in cookies, sweetbreads, etc.

What is shelf life for your roasted nibs 7.8 oz. Just bought tin, not dated. Delicious. Want to get more, but others in shop also not dated. White sticker on bottom of tin marked 0845

Hi Aitch, 0845 is Julian Date Calendar. We packed the product on March 25th, 2015 and is good for another year and a half. Thank you! TCHO Customer Service

Are these processed by the Dutch method?

Asked by: EmilyGS
These are simply roasted nibs - they have not been alkalized or processed in any way aside from roasting. Thank you for your question!

I was wondering if I your cocoa nibs would work for making hot chocolate. Also do you have a retail location in the Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR where I could buy a canister or would it be best to order online

Asked by: Timf

First of all, I wanted to tell you that I love these cacoa nibs, they taste wonderful! I wanted to know though...why do these not contain any fiber? Almost all other brands I have seen contain fiber, is there a reason why these don't? Thanks!
